Viscotears provides soothing, long lasting relief from sore, gritty, dry eyes. The initial soothing sensation is prolonged by the long ation of the liquid gel in the eye. On average, one drop is administered 3-4 times per day. If required, Viscotears may be administered more frequently.

This medicine can be used as a substitute for natural tears for people who suffer from dry eyes because they do not produce enough of their own tears. It can also be used for people who suffer from sore eyes because their tear film is unstable.

Carbomers cling to the surface of the eye and are therefore not washed out of the eye as quickly as other lubricating eye drops.

If user wears contact lenses they should not be placed back in their eye until 30 minutes after treatment.

To avoid contamination do not touch dropper tip to any surface. Discard contents four weeks after opening.
