Sanderson Superior Red Krill Oil 1500mg is rich in phospholipid bound omega-3s that offer greater bioefficiency and better utilization in the body than other forms. Omega-3 phospholipids from krill do not give any aftertaste, because they are water-soluble and so rapidly digested in the stomach.

Krill oil has been shown in research to be an effective means of managing healthy cholesterol levels, superior to ordinary fish oils. It has also been demonstrated as a superior support for joint comfort. The antioxidant Astaxanthin which gives krill oil its characteristic red colour is known to cross the blood – brain barrier making krill a potent aid in maintaining healthy brain function, especially as we age.

Convenience in use: small dose and no unpleasant aftertaste

Rimfrost Sublime contains phospholipid bound omega-3s that offer greater bio-efficiency and better utilization in the body than other forms. Therefore, also smaller daily doses are required.

Omega-3 phospholipids from krill do not give any aftertaste, because they are water-soluble and therefore rapidly digested in the stomach. Other forms of omega-3 e.g. From fish oils are hydrophobic and separate in water. In the stomach they float and therefore causing unpleasant fishy burbs and aftertaste.

Clear red colour proves the gentle processing

Rimfrost Sublime is processed only minimally and gently in low temperatures to decrease the risk of oxidation, which can be seen as a brownish hue in krill oil. Rimfrost Sublime, however, has a clear red colour due to the short two-step process with rapid enzymatic processing on-board and gentle SFE extraction of oil. Rimfrost Sublime also contains exceptionally high levels of astaxanthin, a naturally occurring antioxidant in krill that is known to be exceptionally powerful. Astaxanthin protects Rimfrost Sublime even further from oxidation and preserves the clear red colour.

Low characteristic odour and flavour – the way it should be!

The freshness of krill is captured by immediate and gentle processing on-board the specialised krill-collecting vessel ‘Juvel’. Ultra-fresh krill and rapid on-board processing prevents any uncontrolled hydrolysis and oxidative degradation of raw material, which would give the end product unpleasant and strong burning taste. These methods give Rimfrost Sublime its characteristic low odour with a hint of fresh shellfish. Just the way it should be!
